Web StagemacOS · Alpha
Slides with live web pages in them, so a talk can show the real product, signed in and ready, instead of screenshots of it.
Live demos break in the moments that matter: the wrong account is signed in, a tab is missing, the page has not loaded. Web Stage puts the live pages into the slides themselves. Each web slide opens its page with its own browser profile, so one slide can show an admin and the next a customer, both already signed in. Demo actions send a prepared request or run a script on cue, presenter notes and a timer stay on your screen, and Check Web Slides loads every page once before the talk. Decks are ordinary documents on your Mac.

- What's new
- The first public alpha of Web Stage: slides with live web pages in them, browser profiles that keep a separate sign-in per slide, demo actions, presenter notes and a timer.
- Demo actions in a deck made elsewhere wait until you allow them, so a received deck never sends requests or runs scripts on its own.
- Check Web Slides before a talk loads every web slide once and reports the ones that fail.
- Web Stage keeps itself up to date: it looks for a new version once a day, and Check for Updates… in the app menu looks right away. The automatic check can be turned off in Settings.
- Settings says what the app stores and sends, and what it cannot vouch for.
